Heartland, the National Restaurant Association and State Restaurant Associations Join Forces

Heartland, the National Restaurant Association® and state restaurant associations have formed a strategic partnership to deliver the first-ever unified payments processing platform to the restaurant industry. This alliance will provide restaurateurs nationwide with effective tools, solutions and resources that will help them reduce their expenses, improve operations and increase profitability — all from one source with integrated technology product platforms.

The partnership’s “Full Course Business SolutionsSM” offering is initially launching with an exclusively endorsed suite of payments products — including card processing, payroll, check management and tip reporting and compliance services.

“The goal of this strategic alliance is to upgrade and control the costs of the crucial business services needed by every restaurateur,” detailed Bob Carr.

Payroll Tax Problems:

If you're have problems with payroll taxes, contact me immediately.

As an employer, it's your responsibility to withhold a certain amount of money from each paycheck and then remit these funds every quarter. The temptation is to dip into this honeypot and pay for some pressing expenses.

But, what if you are still short at the end of the quarter? In this case, the consequences can be severe, in terms of interest charges and penalties (which can be 100% of the tax liability). There may even be criminal sanctions and prison time. Oh, and the IRS may shut down your business.
